GDPR Update

As the 25th May draws near the Information Commission Office (ICO) have a number of useful resources on their website to help preparations including: 

• A series of blog posts tackling 'GDPR Myths', including the most recent one on consent under the GDPR. 
• A live chat service to accompany the existing advice service for small organisations preparing for GDPR. 
• A self-assessment checklist and interactive lawful basis tool. 

The final, detailed guidance for using consent as a lawful basis has also now been published.
