Creative Age Dementia Art Group

We had a great turnout for the first session of the Creative Age Dementia Art Group. Have a look at the photos of some of the pieces of work made by the group.

Creative Age is a dementia-friendly creative programme offering people living with dementia, their families and carers, and those with long term health conditions & memory problems the opportunity to take part in lively and supportive creative session led by artists.

If you have early diagnosis join us for fun, relaxed sessions where you can try ceramics along with other art forms and meet new people. Come independently or bring a friend, family member or carer.

East Durham Trust is a flagship VCSE organisation for the 27 villages and 2 towns on the East Durham Coast. We are the 'go to' organisation in our community delivering a range of projects and services from crisis support  to art engagement.

We work directly with community members and partners to facilitate prevention, intervention and crisis support services delivered in our communities, for our communities and by our communities.

We empower people to take ownership of their own needs and work to lift up those most in need in East Durham. We help build and maintain meaningful relationships within our community ensuring those on the margins are helped to be in reach of a spectrum vital services.
