Stop Poverty in East Durham (SPIED) is a project intended to combat the effects of poverty in East Durham through a number of different initiatives. These are: benefit checks and support, debt advice, holiday activities with food to combat holiday hunger, resilience training delivered in community venues and Peer Support Groups.
