During the summer months of 2013 East Durham Trust mobilised the local community in attempts to collect 1 MILLION drinks cans. The project was designed to do three things:
Clean up the local environment
Get people actively engaged
Help local good causes
The following individuals have made a significant contribution to the nationally recognised project - The Million Can Challenge. In doing so they have ensured that the community of East Durham is a better place to live and that a number of local good causes have been supported in the process.
