Olympic Torch Event @ Dene Community School

To celebrate the Olympic Torch passing through East Durham a special event is being organised by local community partners.

The Dene Community Games Festival will include a range of sporting and cultural activities aimed at families and the local community including

- A stage area with dance performances, singers & steel bands from local schools

- A range of inflatables (free of charge)

- Come and try sports, archery, basketball & indoor rowing

- Race's, tug of war competitions, penalty shoot out's

- NHS mini health checks.

You might like to arrange a display or demonstration. Not forgetting that activities are focused around culture as well as sport.
