Protection of Freedoms Act – What it Means for Your Organisation
The Home Office has published details of the implications of the Protection of Freedoms Act. It also replaces the Vetting and Barring Scheme and creates a new Disclosure and Barring Service to oversee "a scaled-back barring regime focused only on roles working most closely with vulnerable groups".
